Several readers have asked me about Rachelle's first reaction to my question. I choose not to post her exact words on this blog. Nonetheless, here's a summary of her message:
- she does not live in my neighborhood
- she lived with her sister for a few weeks (who lives in my town)
- she has just graduated with her bachelor's degree
- she is currently doing an internship with a bank
- she hopes I'm motivated for my classes :-)
So far, so good. I intend not to interpret her message. After all, it is difficult for me to guess what she meant by the words she chose.
I wish I had more empathy. I wish I knew whether she will eventually be impressed by the efforts I take, or will take.
Taking a look at her actions; I would definitely consider myself the luckiest guy in the world already if, for instance, she wrote "I like you" on a coaster to me. Seriously.
The question remains; how could I ever know? At what point should I ever stop courting her? If I did have an answer to this question, I would certainly take any effort necessary to win her heart. This is for sure.
For now, my dear bloggers; I'm simply going to wait for another response.

Thanks for your comment!
I would say women would rather be overly pursued than not pursued enough any day (unless of course she's some kind of super model and is pursued by men to an annoying degree). I guess what I am saying is that if she's a normal sort of girl, like me, she would probably love the boost of knowing that some nice young man is interested. And if you are genuine and kind, she will either fall for you or let you down gently. So what have you to lose?
Would you like to do me a favor and comment on my newest entry? I am really in a pickle, needing a man's perspective, and feeling very down and out lately..
Indeed, patience will get one far with the fairer sex. I wonder how the lady in question would react if she were to stumble upon this blog which reveals your struggles? Perhaps some of the ladies might venture to guess? Would it be to this gentleman's benefit or to his disadvantage? Let us hope the former.
Devotedly,
RJS
Congratulations
Patience is the guide to all matters of love. Wish you all the best of luck!
