Chasin' Cars
Thursday, October 4I have been waiting for a response from my neighbor, Rachelle, for several days.
After a time of uncertainty whether she truly lives in my neighborhood, I decided to get her a present. I went to a flower shop and bought a red rose. I burned the song Chasing Cars (Snow Patrol) on a CD and printed its lyrics on a blue sheet. Beneath the lyrics I added the words 'would you?' in order for her to trigger a question.
Only one day after I had laid everything in front of her door, it occured to me she possibly doesn't know who made her this present.
Therefore, I burned another CD which I named 'des chansons francophones' and put it into her mail box; along with a few words on a card and the lyrics of the song 'Message Personnel' (Les Enfoirés).
'Message Personnel' says more than a thousand words.

that´s so nice!
i would love someone who do that kind of romantic things for me...
i´m sure Rachell will love that too!

Have you seen her at all since the gift?

Wow, that's sweet!
I am so pleased for you that you did that!
I hope all turns out well bei dir.
I think you made, all at once, the grandest yet also the most polite gesture - how very Swiss!
(Someday I aspire to give politeness training seminars to the Swiss - yeah, right!)
By the way, may I link you on my site? You may not wish to be linked with me - so I ask respectfully.
