I'm so excited

Friday, December 14

Since my last post, there has been a lot of news. The most important to me (and you may not fully understand this) is, I bought a skateboard. Inspite of. And by inspite of I mean; inspite of what other people may think. Inspite of whether I will often use it.

At age 22, studying at a reknowned business school, having previously worked in the P/E industry, people would not expect me to become a skateboarder, at this stage of life. Well, let's see.

During the next three weeks, I will sit three exams. One on Distribution & Channel Management (very interesting, by the way), another one on the Book Sciences (ok), and an essay on the novels Waterland and Ragtime.

And after the following week; guess what? I will be returning to my Sister's for Christmas time. And somewhere between Christmas and New Year's Eve, sometime between these comforting days of the old year passing by, I'll watch out for a skatepark.

To see how brave and courageous a guy I am to first ride down one of the ramps. I am so excited.

(Can anybody understand, by the way?!)

  1. Brawnyhunk, I love that you posted on this topic!
I, too, have claimed the bravery to learn new tricks at this late part of my life.
I got myself and my kids Ripstiks this summer. They all mastered them in record time, while I, who fancied myself to have excellent balance, quickly gave up, to protect my aging skeleton. :-)
Two years ago I had been hoping to take up snowboarding with my kids. I still haven't been brave enough to sign up for a lesson in snowboarding, but maybe it can be the thing my oldest child and I can do together. [My second child and I have a sport that we, for now, exclusively do together, after all.]
I am sorry I ever doubted your motives in writing.
Go ahead, make all the money you want; you're Swiss and it's your natural destiny.
Why don't you copy your every digital utterance while you're at it? I try to do that, for sure.
Later, if you've become famous, or a money-making entity, you can reissue, repackage, reƫvaluate the material - my apologies to The Smiths!

nice idea to copy all the writings, e-mails, and stuff. i'll need to think about that.
by the way, what do you mean by "The Smiths"? Do you mean the rock band?
