If they came to see a big sign that there's to be absolutely no smoking allowed at all,they probably would've have complied. The fact is that smokers and non-smokers need to get along,and smokers should be allowed to puff in public as long as they ask nonsmokers if they mind. I admire the Schmidts,and hope that they continue their ways.
